Shipping & Delivery :
TrakGPS Inc. can ships merchandise all arround the world within the continental Canada and United States and to international locations. The risk of loss and title for all merchandise ordered on this Web site pass to you when the merchandise is delivered to the shipping carrier.
Sales Tax :
TrakGPS Inc. charges sales tax only for merchandise ordered and shipped in Canada regarding on the applicable sales tax
Warranties :
TrakGPS Inc. warrants that all their GPS products and accessories are free from defect for a period of one year starting from the date of delivery. This warranty is applicable only to the original purchaser directly from TrakGPS Inc. In case there is a product defect under proper usage, TrakGPS Inc. is bound to replace or repair the defective product(s) according to the following regulations:
Products found defective upon receipt:
In case you find the products received defective, you must claim for the responsibility of TrakGPS Inc. immediately within 10 days after receipt. TrakGPS Inc. will then judge and verify the responsibility. If this is the case, TrakGPS Inc. will fully assume the responsibility, and cover all of the expenditures of forwarding charges to and fro, repair/replacement charges of the defective products and import duty of Taiwan.
Products found damaged under proper usage within/ over one year:
TrakGPS Inc. warranty is for proper usage in a period of one year. Any damage occurred within this period is subject to impartial verification.
If the responsibility is verified to be on TrakGPS Inc., we will fully assume responsibility and cover all of the expenditures of forwarding charges to and fro, the repair/replacement charges of the defective products and import duty of Taiwan.
If the damages occurred one year after delivery, you have to cover all expenditures, including forwarding charges to and fro, repair/replacement charges, and import duty of Taiwan.
Before sending the defective goods back to TrakGPS Inc., you must obtain our permission and RMA (Return Material Authorization) number. Any delivery of returned goods without TrakGPS Inc.'s permission in advance is bound to be rejected.
The description of returned defective goods on the invoice should be exactly identical to the original forwarding invoice signed by TrakGPS Inc. And one copy of the original forwarding invoice is required to accompany with the documents. This invoice is an indispensable document for returning goods, as it can spare import duty by referring the goods to "returning of exported goods", instead of "importation of foreign products". The invoice should include the text of "country of origin: Taiwan R.O.C."
Freight prepaid:
Unless with permission of TrakGPS Inc. in advance, you should never send the defective goods by freight collect, otherwise the shipment will be rejected.
Urgent replacements:
In ordinary cases, the repair/replacement time can be warranted for 90 days in maximum from the date of shipment. In order to better serve our customers, however, TrakGPS Inc. agrees to send replacements prior to the receipt of returned defective goods, with a prerequisite that customers agree to make a temporary payment equivalent to the value of the replacement. After TrakGPS Inc. receives the returned goods, customers can choose either to immediately request reimbursement, or to keep it as credit for the next procurement.
In prior to obtain an RMA from TrakGPS Inc., customers are required to sign at the bottom of this Regulation to acknowledge their full awareness of all of the aforementioned regulations.
